  1. I was just thinking about searching for a Bahamadia mixtape. Great find! Why Bahamadia never blew up is beyond me. She deserves more props.

btw, have you seen The Revival? Why that show wasn't here in the US is a crime.

  2. Cool Documentary!!Question is would a tour of that magnitude have the same impact in the states!! For years European countries have been huge supporters of hip hop as a whole giving life to artist who could not have the same draw in the states. Such artist like Steady B,and Schooly D were to name a few, who sold out concerts in England and other places, however were so so in the states. I felt for these women who would like to be honored in the same names as some of their male counter parts, however it just doesn't happen like that!! Now out of all them I can speak for Shante who battled men as well as women and in a couple cases won in my opinion but that women thing got in the way!! Have we met a women that dominant yet is the question. hell the industry was shook up when Eminem became the first dominant white rapper and he is respected by most as one of the best m.c.'s not white m.c. in his earlier claim to fame he came hard and often that he was not to be denied I would like to see more consistency from the female artist but I can tell you Bahamadia can spit sick 4real!!
